Wine Bar George - A Restaurant & Bar

I am a Florida resident but not local to Orlando. —- Wine Bar George is my go to whenever I go to Disney, Disney Springs, or Orlando in general over the years. I have been to WBG for brunch and dinner. The highlight of the restaurant is the service - they are highly attentive, very knowledgeable of the menu, and highly accommodating. The owner makes an appearance a few times as well and is willing to share his knowledge as well. The high quality staff leads into a great atmosphere. Other than the staff, the atmosphere is heavy on wood and steel and feels like a you’re eating on a dock. Wine and wine coolers line the restaurant as well. It takes you away from the heat and madness of Disney Springs outside. The food is good to excellent. I’ve had their brunch menu items, dinner menu items - including the fish and steak family meals, and even their kids meal (when my son doesn’t eat it). Lastly, the drinks are another highlight of WBG. The wine list is a great size with a lot of variety and the cocktails are consistent and tasty. They play on the Disney theme with Dole Whip frozes which are sweet, refreshing, and a must try for Disney aficionados. Ive gone with my family and with larger groups of friends - and I havent been disappointed yet. (10 visits over the years)

Amazing selection of wine! Was surprised to find such a great wine list in Downtown Disney to be honest. The Burrata and tomato salad was the best I’ve ever had as well!

Food was phenomenal. Love the simple menu which really helped with decision fatigue that comes with excessively large menus. I love that most of the dishes if not all were meant for sharing. The food with the extensive wine menu was wonderful. The restaurant is in Disney Springs so PLEASE make sure you give yourself time to get there because there’s a walking component from where our Lyft dropped us off. Give yourself at least 10 minutes buffer if you don’t want to be late. Maybe give yourself more time if you’re prone to stopping to take nice pictures because it’s a pretty scenic walk. The restaurant was in a very nice location where you can get a nice view. They have two floors from what I’ve seen and restrooms on both floors. Zach was our waiter and he was great! Would come here again for sure.

This wine bar did NOT disappoint. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The Trefethan chardonnay on tap was delicious. The hummus was incredible, the meatballs were yummy and the polenta under them was fantastic. Loved the salad and the saganaki was so so yummy because who doesn’t love hot cheese they set on fire right in front of you. Such a great experience.

We're making sure to try all of the restaurants here at Disney Springs. We've rarely been let down, today was no different. Online has fabulous photos of the food, the menu is small and therefore focused and it shows. Please see my pics and certainly give this place a try. I also had the Penley Estate Cabernet, Australian and delectable. Our bill for 3 was 210 and worth it. 2 glasses of wine and 2 non alcoholic drinks. 3 appetizers and 1 family meal. Ask for Camden! He took great care of us.

The wine list here is LEGIT. Serious representation from lots of countries not just Italy/France. Great food and bites, friendly and knowledgeable service and I thought reasonable prices all things considered. What I think is innovative and I wish more places would do this is they offer different ounce pours for a select set of wines so you can make your own flights, try something new, not over imbibe etc. It's not surprising it's very popular with locals.

My wife and I dined at Wine Bar George recently and really enjoyed our experience. Our waitress was very attentive and a great host while the food was fantastic. The wine menu was very well rounded and offered a great portfolio of selections. If you are a wine person like my wife and I we definitely recommend Wine Bar George for a great evening.

One of my favorite resturants in the world and certainly a must visit in Disney Springs. The restaurant offers hundreds of wines; Many rare vintages of which you can try in one ounce pours. Truly a unique experience that is difficult to find anywhere else. The food menu is small in variety but all the options are excellent. I highly recommend this fantastic wine centered experience.
